Data Engineer

At Axelio in Bunnik, you will have the opportunity to apply your skills in developing and managing standardized data pipelines on the Microsoft SQL/Azure/Fabric platform.
What you will do as a Data Engineer
As a Data Engineer at Axelio in Bunnik, you are crucial for the management and optimization of our data infrastructures. You work independently on challenging projects and play a key role in realizing high-quality data solutions. Additionally, you collaborate with colleagues to implement our various data platforms as standardized as possible for clients.
You have experience in developing ETL processes and version control in Azure DevOps. You ensure that data pipelines function smoothly and that the integrity of the data is maintained, while also ensuring efficient version control and continuous integration of systems.
Your tasks
- Maintaining our standard BI Architectures.
- Developing technical connections to source systems to import data into the BI environment in Azure and Fabric.
- Extracting data from a source system into a staging area.
- Designing and building data warehouses with Databricks or SQL, including creating mappings from source data to the data warehouse.
- Designing and building data models for datasets.
- Automating the data warehouse loading processes in Azure Data Factory or Fabric.
- Formulating and presenting recommendations to stakeholders based on data analysis and findings.
What you can expect from us
You earn between €4,000 - €7,000. You can also receive additional bonuses, depending on your performance and that of the organization.
We offer you a mobility budget that you can use for a lease car, a lease bike, public transport, or can be paid out as a gross compensation.

What we expect from you
- At least a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, (Technical) Business Administration, or ICT.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Python, SQL, Power BI.
- Experience in unlocking data from ERP systems.
- You are a team player with strong analytical skills and a results-oriented mindset.
- Certificates in Microsoft BI stack.
- Creativity in finding the best solution for the client.
- Excellent command of both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
