Credit Management Employee
With your decisive approach, you ensure that outstanding invoices do not remain open unnecessarily long. You maintain an overview, pick up the phone when necessary, and know how to clearly and professionally document payment agreements. You not only pay attention to numbers but also to customer relationships. As a Credit Management Employee at Axelio in Veenendaal, you will have an independent role within Finance. You keep control of our accounts receivable portfolio, identify risks in time, and directly contribute to a healthy and predictable cash flow. Additionally, you look beyond just accounts receivable management. With your financial and administrative knowledge, you also support other tasks within our Finance team where necessary. This way, you make a broad contribution to a reliable financial administration.
What you will do as a Credit Management Employee
As a Credit Management Employee, you are responsible for actively managing our outstanding items. You monitor the accounts receivable list daily and contact customers by phone and in writing when payment terms have expired. You do not wait but take action and ensure that every outstanding item receives the appropriate follow-up.
You send reminders and dunning letters according to our fixed dunning cycle and make payment agreements with customers where necessary. You document these carefully and then ensure that the agreements made are adhered to.
Do you see an increased payment risk? Then you signal this in time and discuss it with the Finance Manager and the responsible colleague within the organization. Also, in case of invoice disputes, you ensure that they are resolved or directed to the right person. When further steps are needed, you prepare the file for collection or legal follow-up.
Additionally, you provide input for our financial reports. This way, you ensure a reliable DSO and aging analysis and contribute to our cash forecast. You also advise on credit limits and payment conditions and substantiate proposals regarding any provisions for doubtful debts.
In addition to your tasks within credit management, you are also broadly deployable within our financial administration. Depending on your knowledge and experience, you may support, for example, accounts payable administration, processing general ledger entries, or tasks related to month-end closing. This way, you contribute not only to good accounts receivable management but also to the smooth running of our financial processes.
What you can expect from us
You earn between €3,600 - €4,000 on a full-time basis.

What we expect from you
As a Credit Management Employee, you are careful, persistent, and communicatively strong. You have no problem picking up the phone and having a difficult conversation, but you also understand that behind every invoice is a customer relationship.
- You have a vocational level 4 or higher education level and have several years of experience in credit management, accounts receivable management, or a similar financial role.
- You have knowledge of the dunning process, statutory collection costs, default interest, and the basics of the collection process.
- You have experience with Business Central or a similar ERP system and are used to working from an aging analysis.
- Broader administrative knowledge or experience, for example, with accounts payable administration, general ledger entries, or month-end closing, is welcome.
- You are decisive and communicatively strong. You dare to address customers about outstanding payments and persist when necessary.
- You are commercially sensitive. You monitor payments without losing sight of the customer relationship.
- You work systematically and structured and follow up on outstanding items according to a fixed cycle.
- You identify risks early and know when to escalate them.
- You are available for 32 to 40 hours per week.
