BI Consultant Finance

In this role, you will work independently within project teams and play a key role in the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards, data models, and data warehouses with a strong focus on financial data and reporting.
This is what you will do as a BI Consultant Finance
As a BI Consultant Finance at Axelio in Bunnik, you are the link between finance and business intelligence. With your background in financial processes and controlling, you understand exactly where our clients' challenges lie. You translate this knowledge into powerful BI solutions within the Microsoft Data Platform.
You are responsible for the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards, data models, data warehouses, and the associated ETL processes. You know how to unlock financial data from ERP systems and translate it into clear management information for CFOs, controllers, and financial teams. Additionally, you guide colleagues in the team and share your financial and analytical knowledge to arrive at the best solutions together.
Your tasks:
- Analyzing the financial information needs of the client.
- Modeling and designing financial data warehouse architectures with our own iqbs tools.
- Unlocking financial data sources (such as general ledger, balance sheet, income statement) to the data warehouse in Azure.
- Developing Power BI dashboards focused on financial steering and KPI reporting.
- Developing reports in Power BI, Excel, and Reporting Services.
- Advising clients on optimizing their financial reporting processes with BI solutions.
- Acting as an ambassador in the field of Finance & BI within and outside the organization and actively participating in knowledge sharing within Axelio.
What you can expect from us
You will earn between €4,000 - €7,000. You can also receive additional bonuses, depending on your performance and that of the organization.

What we expect from you
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in finance, business economics, controlling, or a comparable financial field.
- Experience with reporting from ERP systems and working with financial data.
- Good knowledge of Power BI, Azure, SQL, and preferably experience with Data Factory, Databricks, or Fabric.
- Experience with financial processes such as budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and management reporting.
- You are analytically strong, communicative, and know how to make complex financial data understandable.
- Willingness to travel occasionally domestically and internationally.
