Senior BI Consultant

As a senior BI Consultant, you work independently within project teams and play a key role in the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards, data models, and data warehouses.
What you will do as a Senior BI Consultant
As a senior BI Consultant at our location in Bunnik, you will lead larger and more complex projects within project teams. You manage the Axelio products and are comfortable sitting at the table with the CEO of a key client. You are responsible for the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards, data models, data warehouses, and the associated ETL processes to extract data from source systems. In this role, you translate the client's wishes into strategic advice and suitable solutions within the BI environment.
You have extensive knowledge of data warehouses and ETL processes within the Microsoft Data Platform, working with SQL, Data Factory, Databricks, and Fabric. Our BI projects are often based on data from ERP systems, which means you frequently deal with data and reports related to logistics and financial business processes. You also mentor junior colleagues and act as a mentor within the team.
Your tasks
- Analyzing the information needs of the client.
- Modeling and designing the necessary data warehouse architecture with our own tools.
- Unlocking various data sources to the data warehouse in Azure.
- Developing dashboards and apps in Power BI.
- Developing the presentation layer in SharePoint and reports using Microsoft BI tools, such as Power BI, Excel, and Reporting Services.
- Acting as an ambassador in the BI field both within and outside the organization and actively participating in knowledge sharing within Axelio.
What you can expect from us
You earn between €5,000 - €7,000. You can also receive additional bonuses, depending on your performance and that of the organization.

What we expect from you
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science, (technical) business administration, or ICT.
- Extensive experience in reporting from ERP systems, Power BI, Azure, Fabric, Power BI, SQL, Python.
- Experience in leading larger projects and taking on the role of lead within project teams.
- You are a team player with strong analytical skills and a results-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel occasionally domestically and internationally.
- Certificates in the Microsoft BI stack.
- Creativity in finding the best solution for the client.
